Leslie Allan Drummond (1920 – 1997)

Papers of the metal sculptor and painter, Leslie Drummond (1920-1997), donated to National Museums Scotland by his widow, Mrs Norma Drummond. She arranged the papers and her manuscript lists have been retained at the beginning of each section. The Museum also holds an example of Drummond’s metal sculpture (K.2007.325).

Papers of John Fleming (1785-1857), Scottish minister, naturalist, zoologist and geologist.  Professor of Natural History, New College, Edinburgh, 1845-1857.

The Museum holds a large collection of shells, approximately 14,500 specimens, belonging to the late Professor John Fleming (1785-1857).  Accession number Z.1959.45
